Reform of Palliative Care Services in Wales

Health Minister, Edwina Hart, has accepted the recommendations of a new report to improve palliative care services across Wales. It calls for consultant-led services, with support from multidisciplinary teams; and improved standards of out-of-hours care. It also notes that a short-course, using blended learning, is being developed at Cardiff University and will be available to GPs.
