On 11 September, MPs are expected to vote again on the assisted suicide bill.
This could have profound consequences for how our society protects people who are seriously ill, disabled, elderly or vulnerable.
Before your MP votes, make sure they hear from you. One message really can make a difference. Ask them to fix care, NOT assisted suicide.
Urge your MP to vote NO. There are three ways to make a difference and every interaction counts.
1. EMAIL (quickest)
If you’re short on time, sending an email only takes a few minutes. Every email is counted, and MPs notice when large numbers of constituents contact them about an issue.

2. WRITE A LETTER (more personal)
A handwritten or personal letter shows you’ve taken time to think about the issue. Letters often have greater impact because they stand out. Send your letter to: [MP Name] MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA
3. ARRANGE A MEETING (most influential)
A respectful conversation—especially if you can share your own experience or explain how assisted suicide could affect someone you know—is often what MPs remember when they enter the voting lobby.
